South Alabama cruised to a 34-10 victory over Idaho in Sun Belt Conference play in the Kibbie Dome on Saturday.
Offensively, they just whupped us. There's really no other way of putting it. They just got after us today,'' Idaho coach Paul Petrino said.
Linehan was 25-of-40 for 239 yards and one TD for Idaho (0-4, 0-2). He distributed his yards among eight receivers, including Josh McCain (8-72) and Richard Montgomery (8-62).
Idaho plays next Saturday at Texas State, which beat Tulsa 37-34 in three OTs.
