Steph Curry is winning fans quicker than he can drain multiple three-pointers.

The defending NBA MVP and all-everything guard for the Warriors met with a four-year-old boy battling brain cancer prior to his team's game against the Heat in Miami on Wednesday.

Curry signed a pair of sneakers he wore during warmups "Keep being brave" and gave them to Shawn Kennedy, who's fighting Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. As you may have guessed, Shawn says Curry is his idol.

Curry also brought Shawn, whose condition is getting a little better, and his brother into the Warriors locker room.

Shawn, who lives in Niagara Falls, N.Y., was able to connect with Curry because another resident in town knows Warriors head coach Steve Kerr and set it up.

Shawn's mother, Nicole Vathy, was blown away by the meeting. She said, "I didn't expect anything like this. He's going to go home and talk about this all day. He really is. He's not going to stop talking about it."
