Kraft-Heinz headquartered in Chicago and Pittsburgh is giving it's 42,000 salaried employees the Monday off after Super Bowl Sunday for their sanity, family and country.

Kraft-Heinz has begun a somewhat tongue in cheek petition to make the Monday after the Super Bowl a national holiday. The petition claims more than 16 million people call in sick or just go through the motions of being at work the Monday after the game.

Officials at Kraft Heinz say they will send the petition to congress in hopes of making the dream a reality.

If nothing else, what a great marketing ploy, who wouldn't love a business willing to give a working American a chance to work off a football hangover with a national holiday?
