Why Are These Women Smiling?

It's great to be an Oregon Duck regionally and nationally.  Sports Illustrated has put the Ducks on this week's cover previewing Monday's national title game.  SI goes farther by picking the Ducks to beat the Buckeyes 45-41.  Whatever happened to defense in college football?  I'm sure the folks in Columbus, Ohio will disagree with the SI experts.  For a peak at this week's cover click here.

Forget the Madden Curse, longtime readers of Sports Illustrated will point out that those on the cover usually do not do well after appearing on the cover.  ESPN's Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon split their picks today on Pardon The Interruption.  Tony went with the Bucks, while Wilbon chose the Ducks.
