It had been sitting at the bottom of a lake for 60 years.

The Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa will soon have another exhibit. A World War II P-47 Thunderbolt plane named, Dottie Mae.

According to KTVB, the plane was part of the 511th fighter squadron and flew in dozens of missions before it was shot down in Austria on May 8, 1945.

It will be unveiled on August 26, 2017 at the Warhawk Air Museum.
