Harvick Wins Bank of America 500

Kevin Harvick is on to the next round of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup championship after winning Saturday night’s Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Harvick held strong after a late restart with two laps to go and stayed put to win his third race of the season and an automatic transfer into the Eliminator Round of the Chase.

Harvick led six times for a total of 162 laps including the final 17.

Jeff Gordon, Jamie McMurray, Joey Logano and pole sitter Kyle Busch rounded out the top five.
