5A District Semi Final pairings set on 630 The Fan

The 5A District 3 boys basketball semi final pairings are set fro Saturday night at Capital High school. Top seed Rocky Mountain will face #5 seeded Centennial at 6 p.m. followed by #2 seed Boise against #6 Borah. Both games will be broadcast live on 630 The Fan.

Borah provided the big story of the quarterfinals when they upset #3 see Capital. It wasn't that the Lions won but how they dominated that surprised everyone. Borah held the Eagles to 9 points at halftime en-route to 55-31 win.

The most competitive game in the quarter finals was Centennials 54-52 win over Mountain View in a 5-seed/4-seed matchup.

So the stage is set for Saturday with the winners advancing to the state tournament and the District title game Friday February 24th. 630 The Fan will be there to bring you all the action as the boys high school basketball season nears the State Tournament March 2-4.
