A Former Bishop Kelly Golfer Sizzles in Scottsdale

Hunter Ostrum won the Idaho 4A State golf title in 2013 and again in 2015 and then headed to Notre Dame where he is heading into his senior season.

This past weekend Ostrum competed in the 104th Annual Southwestern Amateur Tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona featuring some of the top collegiate golfers in the country.

Past champions include Cory Pavin and Mark O'Meara and now.Hunter Ostrum!

Ostrum won the tournament with a 16 under par 72 hole score of 264. Ostrum posted four rounds in the 60's including a closing 5-under par 65 on Sunday.

To say the least it was an impressive weekend of golf. Ostrum plans to turn pro after graduating from Notre Dame.
