The Utah State Aggies have won ten games in a row and Boise State has racked up six straight but this week the team that goes 1-0 wins it all.

The 2018 college football season has come down to one game for Boise State and Utah State who collide Saturday night at 8:15 p.m. for the West division title in the Mountain West and the right to play in the Mountain West Title game against Fresno State.

Utah State, which survived a stunner in Ft. Collins to beat Colorado State 29-24 is ranked 14th in this weeks AP college football poll while Boise State is 21st. The Aggies are 10-1 and Boise State 9-2 overall, 7-0 and 6-1 in league play respectively.

For a short moment Saturday Utah State thought it had lost it's first conference game when a hail-mary pass with no time remaining was caught in the end zone for a Colorado State 30-29 win.

There was a flag on the play however as the receiver who caught the ball had stepped out of bounds and couldn't be the first player to tough the ball which he was and thus Utah State had clutched victory from the depths of defeat!

The call, which prompted conspiracy theories from Colorado State fans actually turns out great for the Mountain West which will stage a premier top 25 showdown on the blue.

Boise State goes into the game a three point favorite which is basically the home field advantage.

Should the Broncos win, they'd host Fresno State for the the Mountain West championship, just like last year and the fourth meeting in two seasons between the two teams with Boise State up 2 games to 1.

You have to believe it this was a best of 7 series it might well go the full 7.

But, as the Boise State players and coaches have said all yea, there is only one game this week and that's Utah State, the biggest game of the year!
