Apparently Sunday was a day of rest for the Boise Hawks offense. The Eugene Emeralds rolled into town and put a 6-0 shutout on the Hawks.

Boise is now 14-16 on the year trailing division leaders Hillsboro and Salem-Keizer by five games in the South Division of the NW League.

The Hops and Volcanoes are both 19-11. The Hawks host Eugene Monday and Tuesday and then Boise hit's the road for six straight games against Salem-Keizer.

The first three in Salem starting Wednesday and then at Memorial Stadium for three Saturday-Monday.

Remember, on Thursday July 18 the Hawks will hold an "All Star Field Day" to celebrate Boise hosting the NW League vs. Pioneer League All-Star game August 9th.

There will be inflatables for the kids, the chance to play catch on the field, discounted food items and of course All-Star tickets will be available for purchase.
