The Boise Hawks enjoyed a rare off-night Tuesday, returning to Boise to begin a five game home stand against the Vancouver Canadians Wednesday at 7:15 p.m.

Boise is 14-11 on the year following a 7-6 win at Salem-Keizer Monday night. Boise scored the winning run in the top of the 9th, an RBI single by Matt Hearn.

While the Hawks 14-11 mark is only good for second place in the NW Leagues South Division, it's actually the second best record among all 8 Northwest League teams.

Only Hillsboro which leads the South Division at 17-8 has a better record in the entire league.

The Hawks and Salem-Keizer Volcanoes are tied at 14-11, where Tri-Cities and Vancouver are tied for the lead in the North Division with 13-12 records.

Spokane currently owns the worst record in the league at 8-17.
