On February 28th Boise State baseball will debut it's first season since 1980 and today Bronco head coach Gary Van Tol said, “This is another historic and exciting day for Boise State baseball as Bronco Nation will have the opportunity to see us play conference opponents San Diego State, Nevada and UNLV, as well as some quality regional opponents from the Pac-12, West Coast Conference and Western Athletic Conference."

The Broncos today announced a 26 game home schedule beginning Friday February 28th against Northern Colorado.In fact Boise State will start the year with an 11 game home stand.

Along with Northern Colorado the Broncos will host Seattle U, Portland, Utah, BYU and Niagara. Meantime, Nine Mountain West games will highlight Boise State’s first home baseball schedule in four decades.

San Diego State, UNLV, Nevada and Gonzaga are also on the home schedule with all games to be played at Memorial Stadium,.

If you can't wait until February, the Broncos will also host fall exhibition games at Memorial Stadium against Northwest Nazarene, Friday Oct. 4 at 5:30 p.m., and Montana State University Billings, Saturday Oct. 5 at 2:30 p.m.

In addition, fans are welcome to attend Boise State batting practice at 3 p.m., this Friday and 11:45 a.m., Saturday.
