The Boise State softball team made his Friday in Gainesville, Florida with a 9-1 win over Stanford of the Pac 12 at the NCAA regional tournament.

The Bronco's came into the tournament as the 10th best hitting team in the country and they live up to that reputation exploding for 5 runs in the 4th inning and then four more in the top of the 7th to dominate the Cardinal.

Rebecca Cervantes opened the scoring with a solo homer in the 4th and then the Broncos simply stroked their way to 8 more runs.

It was the Broncos 35th win of the season but more importantly their first ever NCAA Tournament victory and the Broncos will now face the winner of the Florida-Boston University game to be played later today.
