The Boise State women's basketball team is now 8-2  following a 73-69 win over Washington Sunday night in Seattle. The win was for the Husky Classic Championship and was the second tournament the Broncos have won this year.

Riley Lupfer led the way with 22 points including 7 three pointers and Braydey Hodgins scored 19 points against Washington and was named the tournament MVP with a total of 33 points and 10 rebounds in two games.

Marta Herminda of Boise State sank a 3-point shot on the Broncos first possession Sunday thus becoming the 20th Bronco in program history to score 1,000 career points.

The Boise State women complete their non conference schedule with Southern Utah in town Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m.
