Coming off a bye week you might expect Boise State head football coach Bryan Harsin to talk about his team being able to heal up and about being excited to get back to work playing football.

Instead at his weekly press conference Harsin didn't really sound like a coach that was 4-0 and a 21 point favorite heading into their game with UNLV Saturday in Las Vegas.

Harsin in fact said wins were like deodorant, they covered up the stink. Harsin went on to say despite his teams unblemished record, there are a lot of blemishes under the wins.

Harsin is worried about the Broncos overall preparation for games saying while many of his players are preparing well, others are not. Some he claims not using their free time to study film and do the little things that make a difference come game day.

So far says Harsin the Broncos have overcome their issues to win but said eventually if they don't do things differently, those issues will come back to bite them.

According to Harsin the 15th ranked Broncos are going to get every teams A-Game. Case in point was Portland State who tested BSU before losing 45-10. The same Portland State team that lost 51-24 at Idaho State this past Saturday. Did the Vikings not bring their A-Game to Pocatello or is Boise State over rated?

Nearly half of Harsins Monday presser concerned his concerns over preparation, or lack of same and he was anxious to see how the team practiced this week. Among the concerns was the fact BSU has to travel this week. They haven't had a road game since the opener at Florida State and while ULNV was manhandled Saturday in Laramie by Wyoming, Harsin says the Rebels have talent and as al;ways, he expects their A-Game come kickoff Saturday at 8:30pm Boise time.
