College of Idaho Leads NAIA in Rushing

The College of Idaho beat Montana Tech 28-14 over the weekend for their 8th straight win dating back to last year and in doing so took the lead in overall rushing yards per game in the NAIA.

The Yotes are now averaging 362 yards per game rushing, thanks mostly to Nick Calzaretta who on 42 carries this season has 371 yards and is averaging 8.8 yards per carry.

Calzaretta had 247 yards rushing against Montana Tech Saturday in Butte.

The College of Idaho is now 2-0 on the year and will host Southern Oregon Saturday at 1 p.m.
