Eagle and Mountain View Win Titles

Eagle High girls cross country team claimed the first state championship in the school's program history at Farragut State Park in northern Idaho over the weekend.

McKenna Emerson paced Eagle with a third-place finish in the 5A race in 18 minutes, 47.9 seconds.

Mountain View boys repeated as 5A state champions. Noah Horsburgh finished sixth, Adrian Jones 10th, Charles Paul 19th and Brandon Walker 20th for the Mavericks.

Rocky Mountain’s Michael Slagowski won his first state cross country title at his final meet.
