I saw one of my mom friend's post "So where are all the FREE egg hunts for the kids this year? I haven't seen anything about any of them yet!" on Facebook last weekend.  We were wondering the same thing and put together this guide for you!

  • Boise: Easter EGGstravaganza

    • Date: Saturday, April 8th
    • Time: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
    • Who: Kids of all ages
    • What: Zoo Boise is hosting Egg Scrambles all day long at this year's Easter EGGstravaganza and they're bringing a very special guest! The Easter Bunny is visiting with more than 30,000 pieces of candy! There's also enrichments at select animal enclosures and face painting. The event is FREE for Zoo Boise pass holders and will only cost you the price of Zoo Admission if you're not. To see the complete list of start times check out Zoo Boise's website.
  • Boise: Treasure Valley Sea Hawkers Easter Egg Hunt

    601 W Jefferson
    • Date: Sunday, April 9th
    • Time: 2 p.m
    • Who: Kids of all ages
    • What: Bring the kiddos to Capitol Park so they can take home their share of 1,000 candy and prize filled eggs! It's FREE to hunt for eggs, but if you bring a canned good, you'll be helping the kids currently staying at the City Light Home for Women and Children!
  • Boise: Easter Egg Drop

    4464 S. Maple Grove
    • Date: Saturday, April 15th
    • Time: 10 - 11 a.m.
    • Who: Kids grade 6 or younger
    • What:  The Cathedral of the Rockies Amity campus hosts an Easter Egg drop of 20,000 eggs full of candy and prizes!  The event is FREE to everyone!
  • Boise: Glow-in-the-Dark Easter Egg Hunt

    270 E. Pennsylvania
    • Date: Saturday, April 15th
    • Time: 7:45 p.m.
    • Who: Kids up to 12 years old
    • What: These eggs really do glow in the dark! It's free for kids to attend and will include hunts in two different age brackets.
  • Meridian: EGGventure Hunt

    3225 E Commercial Ct
    • Date: Saturday, April 15th
    • Time: 12 - 3 p.m.
    • Who: Kids 1-11
    • What: Bigger and better than your average egg hunt! This event has an egg hunt, inflatable obstacle courses, slides, bounce houses, rock wall and bubble soccer! It's also got your chance to win a family season pass to Roaring Springs and Planet Kid!
  • Eagle: Eagle Trail EggXtravaganza

    637 E. Shore Dr
    • Date: Saturday, April 8th
    • Time: 10 a.m. - 12  p.m.
    • Who: Kids of all ages
    • What: Eagle Parks and Rec are teaming up with the Eagle 616 Lions Club to turn regular Easter egg scrambles on their head! This FREE egg hunt will send your kids out on the paths in Eagle to find their treasures.  Preregistration is NOT required for this event. Egg hunt starts from Merrill Park.
  • Caldwell: Spring Fling

    • Date: Saturday, April 15th
    • Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
    • Who: Kids of all ages
    • What: It's not just an Easter Egg hunt! It's a party with local vendors, raffle prizes, jumpy toys and dance exhibitions! Easter Egg hunt starts at 11 a.m. This event is FREE!
  • Nampa: Pool Easter Egg Swim

    131 Constitution Way
    • Date: Saturday, April 15th
    • Time: 1-3 p.m.
    • Who: Kids 5 - 12
    • What: This is an Easter Egg hunt like no other! The Easter Bunny slipped himself into a wetsuit and hid eggs at the bottom of the Nampa Rec Center’s pool! Kids 12 and under are welcome to put on their goggles and “hop” in to find them! FREE with Rec Center admission.
  • Nampa: Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

    131 Constitution Way
    • Date: Saturday, April 15th
    • Time: 1-3 p.m.
    • Who: Teens 13-17
    • What: The Easter Bunny didn’t forget the big kids! Teens ages 13-17 are welcome to bring their own flashlights and try to hunt down every last egg in the dark! $3 entry fee.
