Some of us celebrate our nation's birthday with fireworks. Others with friends and flags.

Others still celebrate by shoving over 60 hot dogs in their face in 10 minutes.

Hot dog super king Joey Chestnut competed in the 100th Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, and clobbered everyone in his path.

Chestnut faced off against last year's champion, Matt Stonie, and it was a complete blowout. Joey set a new world record by eating 70 hot dogs in 10 minutes, while Stonie only managed 53.

Chestnut's secret to victory? Vengeance:

It’s his fault. He beat me last year and awoke the sleeping giant. He made me go back to the drawing board and relearn my body. And I did it, and I’m happy.

On top of basking in the glory of victory, Chestnut also walked away with $10,000 in cold hard cash.
