Its State Tournament time again for Idaho High School soccer teams as 48 teams have converged on the Treasure Valley to compete for tittles starting Thursday.

The 5A action will be played at Meridian, Rocky Mountain and Eagle high schools starting 9 a.m. Thursday.

In Girls 5A at Meridian Rocky Mountain vs. Coeur d'Alene at 9am followed by Madison-Timberline at 11:30am.

At Rock Mountain high Lake City plays Mountain View at 11:30am followed by Boise-Eagle at 2pm.

The 5A boys first round schedule is as follows:

At Eagle High: Borah-Lake City at 9am, Coeur d'Alene-Madison at 11:30am and Eagle-Mountain View at 2pm. At Rocky Mountain, Thunder Ridge vs. Skyview at 9am.

The big story in boys soccer this year is the fact Boise is not in the tournament. Boise started the year 17-0 and then lost 3 of 4 district tournament games including a 4-3 decision to Madison in a state play in game.

The 4A state tournaments both boys and girls will, be played at Brothers Park in Caldwell and the 3A tournaments at Vallivie High School
