Believe it or not, school is back in session for some Treasure Valley Charter Schools.  Next week West Ada students return to the classroom.  The Meridian Police have a special message for all Treasure Valley Residents.  The MPD would like you to slow down begining this week around local charter schools as they get back in session.  West Ada Schools will begin the school year next Wednesday.

Police want you to be aware that kids will be once again walking and riding their bikes to school during your morning and afternoon commutes.  That means school buses will be back on the roads as well.  Please be careful around bus stops and please give the buses proper distance to protect kids getting on and off.

Meridian Police announce that they will be paying close attention to speeds in school zones.  MPD will be on the lookout for aggressive drivers during both commutes around school zones.

MPD would like all drivers to drive safe.
