The pairings for the Mountain West post season basketball tournament in Las Vegas are starting to line up but there's still a lot of juggling after the top two.

Nevada nailed down the #1 seed with a 92-83 win over Colorado State and while enjoying a bye weekend Boise State wrapped up the #2 seed.

That means Boise State will open tournament play a week from this Thursday March 8th at 7 p.m. Boise time in Las Vegas. Unfortunately right now the Broncos would be paired against the home team UNLV and that's why the last two games of the regular season are important for every team in the league.

Boise State plays at San Diego State Tuesday 2/27 and then closes the regular season by hosting Wyoming on Saturday March 3rd.

Earlier this year Boise State beat the Aztecs 83-80 in Boise and according to coach Leon Rice, the Aztecs have just gotten better. At least that's what he told 630 The Fan.

Rice was also asked today about the state of college basketball what with all the NCAA investigations and sanctions. Rice sais nothing surprises him these days but added it's really time that everyone played by the same set of rules.

Boise State will close the regular season this Saturday hosting Wyoming at 5 p.m. It will be senior night.
