Maybe it's just me but it seems like the Boise Hawks used to be a much bigger media draw than now.

I remember airing game highlights every home game and the newspaper had front page coverage. In fact the Ore-Ida Women's Cycling Challenge of years ago featuring world class cyclists used to complain the Hawks, not them, got top coverage.

Now you have to search for a final score.

The Hawks beat Tri-Cities 4-2 Monday night scoring all four runs in the second inning while the bullpen combined to mow down 17 straight Dust Devil batters.

The Hawks return home July 4th to host Eugene and a post game fireworks display.

A capacity crowd is expected and that's to be expected because fives times already this season the Hawks have sold out memorial stadium.

The Hawks may no longer be media darlings but baseball fans in Boise continue to love the boys of summer!.
