Steelheads in a Free Fall

The Idaho Steelheads were looking forward to a six game home stand but halfway through they still haven't won on home ice and have now lost six in a row.

The Utah Grizzlies swept three games in Boise including a 3-2 overtime win Saturday night. Utah overcame a 2-0 deficit with a pair of goals in the final period to force overtime where Utah's Ralph Cuddemi scored just 73 seconds into OT for the win.

The Steelies home stand continues this week with games Wednesday, Friday and Saturday against the Wheeling Nailers.

Wheeling plays in the North division of the ECHL's Eastern Conference and is currently 24-15-5 compared to Idaho at 24-16-7.
