The Basque Soccer Friendly Might Happen Sooner Than Scheduled

The Basque Soccer Friendly scheduled for Bronco Stadium might be happening sooner than the scheduled date.

The game is set to be played at Albertsons Stadium on July 29 at 7 p.m.
But that all depends on a game on May 30th between Athletic Bilbao and FC Barcelona.

The two teams meet in the Copa del Rey final next Saturday. If Bilbao wins, the Basque Soccer Friendly will happen on it’s scheduled date.

If Bilbao loses, the team will begin UEFA Europa League qualifying on July 30 and August 6, which would make the game in Boise out of their time frame. The Basque Soccer Friendly would then be moved up to either July 18 or 19.

The Basque Soccer Friendly will feature Athletic Bilbao versus Club Tijuana.
