US Women's World Cup Roster Revealed

The 2015 Women's World Cup is just around the corner.

The tournament will take place in Canada this year as the US Women's National Team seeks redemption after their heartbreaking loss to Japan in the last tournament final. The USWNT has two World Cups in their trophy case, having won the first Women's World Cup in 1991 and of course the 1999 Women's World Cup. The US has come close, but hasn't been able to win it all since the '99ers did on home soil.

Even though the USWNT beat Japan in the Olympics Gold Medal game, they still feel as though there is unfinished business with only one player on the team winning a World Cup.

The roster is full of familiar faces and some new comers, but there's plenty of time to get familiar with the ladies who will be repping the United States in Canada this summer.
