Read why USA Today ranks the Broncos the fifth best team in the country.    With just a few weeks left until the College Football Season starts USA Todayhas released its rankings of all teams 1-128.  There’s no surprise that Ohio State, Baylor, Auburn, and Alabama are in the top four.  The big shocker is that USA Today has picked the Boise State Broncos as the fifth best team in the country. BSU is #24 in the Amway Coaches Poll.   Sports Illustrated has the Broncos ranked #16.  ESPN picks the Blue at #21.

Boise State’s success under now second-year coach Bryan Harsin and their talent have caught the nation’s attention.   Here’s how USA Today described them,  “Then comes Boise State — and yes, the Broncos are going to be very, very good.”   Look for most of the national pundits to question the top five ranking.  The debate is a good thing because it keeps Bronco Nation in the news.

BSU is ranked ahead of Pac 12 Schools Oregon, Standford, Arizona State and TCU of the Big 12 and Michigan State of the Big 10.  The Broncos toughest games of the season are the opener at home against Washington and BYU.
