Kirk Copeland has resigned as the head football coach at Timberline High school in Boise. Copeland was 26-40 in seven seasons with the T-Wolves, the longest tenured football coach in school history.

Copeland who led Timberline to three straight playoff appearances from 2013 to 2015 says he wants to free up time to pursue other interests like watching his son Kellen play for the College of Idaho. Copeland says you can't put a price on those missed opportunities.
