Only one Treasure Valley high school football team has a chance to bring home a trophy this weekend and that's the Fruitland Grizzlies.

For the fifth time in history Fruitland enters the title game with an undefeated season 11-0 and ranked #1 in the state among 3A football teams.

Only once in those 5 undefeated seasons did Fruitland return home undefeated and that was 2010 when they beat Snake River.

Ironically in 2017 Fruitland once again takes an unblemished record to the state championship game and once again in their way of a perfect season is Snake River.

The motto all season has been to "chase perfection"  which they hope to corral tomorrow at high noon at Holt Arena in Pocatello.

The Snake River Panthers are 7-3 but have won 7 straight since starting the season 0-3.

However, the Grizzlies rushing offense, averaging 381 yards a game is expected to carry the Grizzlies to another championship.
