Offensive tackle Jordan Gross is retiring from the NFL. The 33 year old Gross was a first-round pick by Carolina in 2003 out of the University of Utah. He moved into a starting tackle position, helping the Panthers reach the Super Bowl as a rookie. The Fruitland graduate did something few players do today, spending his entire career with one team, the Panthers. The 6’ 3” 310 pound mountain of a man had 167 starts and earned three Pro Bowl berths while establishing himself as a mainstay in the locker room and Carolina community.
