The Idaho Steelheads logged their 38th win of the year over the weekend in West Virginia beating the Wheeling Nailers 4-1. Steelie goalie Landon Bow stopped 23 shots to earn his 17th win of the season. The 38 wins ties Idaho's win total all of last year with 6 regular season games to play.

Idaho is now 38-21-7 on the year, 3rd behind Colorado and Allen in the Mountain Division of the ECHL.

To make things interesting the Colorado Eagles will be in Boise Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of this week for a series that will definitely have playoff implications a playoff feel and will be the final regular season home games for Idaho..

Division leading Colorado has already clinched a playoff spot and has the 2nd best record in the ECHL at 45-17-2.

The Steelheads are looking to clinch a playoff spot for their 20th playoff berth in 20 seasons as an ECHL franchise.
